About Sarah
Sarah is a mixed-media artist recognized for her brilliant use of color and unique style. Her mission with her paintings is to inspire her viewers to feel joy and experience their own memories within her paintings. Her most recent paintings include forms of designs, patterns, and text into the backgrounds or pieces of the scene. These seemingly arbitrary "doodles" are deeply in rooted in what Sarah is thinking about during the painting. She uses numbers, letters, and different shapes to convey this.
Born and raised in upstate New York, Sarah has been showcasing her artwork since 2013. Sarah studied Art and Design at Alfred University then continued at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore Maryland earning a Masters in Fine Arts in Photographic & Electronic Media.
She is continuously influenced by her ten years as an elementary art teacher as well as becoming a mother. She adapts those playful elements into her paintings through her use of drawing and color.
